Badrinath Critic Reviews
- The take-off of the film is really interesting. But the unfolding of the story is not gripping. It is a simple love story from girl point of view with a backdrop of Badrinath temple. The bonding between guru-sishya is not exploited. The plus points of the film are Allu Arjun (dances, fights and performance), cinematography and grand production values. On the flip side, narration lacks grip and screenplay should have been better.
- Overall, the film will work strongly in the opening day due to Allu Arjun and Tamannah following along with the publicity hype but to be frank, the film has nothing extraordinary to be spoken about.
- There is a fine line between commercial cinema and culture filled cinema and this is something Vinayak should have realized when he prepared the script. At one point, it looked confusing on how to connect with the protagonist. While the first half takes off with some hype oriented scenes and the twist before interval was effective, but the momentum eventually slows down. The second half was repetitive and the climax was as expected.
