Nenu Naa Rakshasi Review
- Finally, NNR would have been a better movie had Puri restricted the movie to 90 minutes. First half plus ten minutes into the second half and climax would have fit in 90 minutes. There are no commercial elements and entertaining values in the movie. It will be very tough for the movie to survive at the box office.
- After watching the movie, anyone would wonder about why this film was made? There is no purpose for it. Suicidal tendencies are a strong sensitive subject and the director makes a mess of it. He should have done good research and made this movie on a small scale to justify the subject. Making a movie on sensitive subjects without any purpose is waste of money and time. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this movie.
- This film is the coming together of two very different people the very austere and savvy Rana, who is more of a method guy, someone who believes in writing exhaustive scripts and then rewriting them to perfection. Then there is Puri, who is more of a ruffian, the street smart guy who works on instincts and whose methods are not necessarily refined. This union has worked on certain fronts and has failed on many others.
- This will not go well with B, C centers and A center audience try to understand the essence in this movie patiently with their heads. This is a kind of art film with commercial budget. This can be sent to film festivals and big headed critical critics may say some good lines about it out of obligations! It is a risky attempt business wise.
